Though it is hard to improve on the GT-R, HKS has done just that with their FMIC kit. The stock cores on the car are very good for stock power, but not for increased boost levels and bigger turbos. This kit includes 2 huge 400x260x65mm intercooler cores which fit perfectly in the front of your GT-R and will cool inlet air efficiently at higher power levels. When most people think of putting a big FMIC on their car, they think it will block the airflow to the radiator. This is not the case with this kit, it actually increases flow to the radiator and the intercooler using a carbon fiber duct specifically designed for this kit. This kit has been track tested and pushed to the limit only to keep consistently low intake air temperatures.
